Founder of Eurowine International Ltd, Bjorn Persson has been working in the wine business for almost 25 years and 2004 he started his first wine company, Vinovum AB in Sweden, before that he was the restaurant sales manager and Duty-free manager for one of Swedens biggest wine import companies, that today is a part of the market leader in Scandinavia, Anora Group.

Vinovum AB is the main supplier to many of the major duty-free clients in Norther Europe selling over 2.2 million liters of wine on a yearly base. The Company supplies wines to ferry lines operating in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, England, Irland, Scotland, and France but also several airlines flying to multiple destinations all over the world. 

Clients we work with today

Retail/Stena Line which connecting Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Scotland and France. Retail (suppling Stena Line) was founded in 1979, they have more than 40 years of experience of travel retail. They supply airports, ferries and embassies in Northern Europe with a wide range of premium products such as perfumes, confectionary, wine, spirits and fashion. Their biggest client Stena Line have 39 ships in 2021, trafficking 18 ferry routes, 3,1 million passengers, 5 100 employees. 

 

Scandlines Denmark/Germany, with 5000 sqm bordershops in Gemany (Puttgarden and Rostock) and ferries trafficking between Denmark and Germany.

ME Group Tax Free operations provide all the logistical services needed to deliver alcohol, tobacco products, sweets, cosmetics and perfumes from the producer to their client. ME Group is one of the biggest suppliers of Duty-free services in the Nordic countries. By acting in close cooperation with producers and customers, they guarantee smooth and reliable deliveries to customers who include passenger ferry lines operating between Finland, Sweden and Estonia as well as airline companies and airports.  

 

Airshoppen supplies travelling companies like Ving, Sunprime, Sunwing, Sunclass Airlines, Tjareborg, Tui, Novair, Jet Time, Braathens, Air Greenland and Apollo in 21 different preorder magazines, several for each airline company in different languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finish both EU and NON-EU versions). Airshoppen reach over 3 million passengers per year. 

Business philosophy

We try…

…..to mix well-known brands with our own private brands to be able to offer a wide selection of wines for different purposes at different price points, we have our own design team in-house. 

 

…..to try to offer all types of wine styles, price points, packaging, sizes, origin, and grape varieties to appeal to the most needs of our customers. 

 

…..to always have a wide range of wines with added extra value such as Organic, Vegan, Fairtrade, Wieta, and so on. 

 

….to always work closely with our customers and understand their needs and wishes. We prefer personal meetings and are not big fans of just sending in written tender offers. 

 

…..to offer competitive prices and therefore we reject more than half of all offers we receive from various producers and agents. Eurowine does the extra work to be able to present more accurate offers and increase our chances to win listings. 

 

Our goal is not just to win listings, our goal is to win listings that are successful and become long-term listings, otherwise we have wasted ours and the clients time. Our wine offers have already been negotiated between Eurowine and the producer before the offer is sent in.
